Angela most recently served as contract VP of Central Operations for Empassion Health. Prior to Empassion, Angela served as a Healthcare Operations SME for several early-stage healthcare start-ups. Over her 25-year career in healthcare, Angela has held a variety of roles in clinical operations, implementations, Medicare Advantage, utilization management, value-based care program development and general operations. Prior to working in operations, Angela practiced as a Physical Therapist, focusing most of her time in acute and post-acute settings.
Angela received her Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy from Tennessee State University and her Master’s in Management of Healthcare from Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management. She also obtained her CPHQ certification in 2021.
